It’s Shiba Inu’s birthday, and Game details are out

The entire Shiba Inu [SHIB] Army has been sharing birthday messages to the network. It’s been two years since this community-driven cryptocurrency made its debut. The SHIB network stood out for many as the devs focused on rolling out developments to spruce up the network instead of indulging in the price alone. In a similar instance, the network has been developing a game that revolves around SHIB. Details about the game were, however, under the wraps. Now, on the occasion of Shiba Inu’s birthday, the network revealed the name of the upcoming game.

In a recent tweet, Shib announced that the Collectible Card Game would be called Shiba Eternity.

As mentioned in the above tweet, the testing schedule and release details will be out soon. In addition, the game is expected to debut on both Apple Store and the Google Play Store.

Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer at SHIB, went on to further give the community a glimpse of the cards available in Shiba Eternity. One of the cards was a dig at those who sold off their SHIB early.

Several cards are expected to be unveiled throughout the year. Over the weekend, Shytoshi revealed the “Get In Position” card.

The Shiba Inu game was announced back in November 2021. The entire community was even more excited following the network’s partnership with Playside Studios. The contract suggested that Playside works on the game during the 8-month term agreement. Therefore, the game should have ideally been launched in July 2022, considering its start in December.

Shiba Inu slumps amidst game announcement

The latest announcement would have pumped the price of SHIB in an ideal market. However, similar to its counterparts, Shiba Inu was witnessing a slump. At press time, the asset had plummeted to $0.00001159 following a 5.16 percent daily drop.

The imminent launch of the game, Shibarium, and other developments are expected to work their magic on the price of Shiba Inu.
